1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Sartorial (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Sartorial is operated by Vladislav Ivanov, contactable at contact@sartorial-design.com. By accessing or using the Sartorial platform, available at sartorial-design.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service following any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and any other persons who access or use the Service.
Effective date: February 2026
Last updated: March 2026
2. Description of Service
Sartorial is a fashion discovery platform that helps users explore and discover clothing and accessories from a wide range of brands and retailers. Our Service includes machine learning-powered features to provide personalised outfit recommendations, visually similar item suggestions, and complementary pairing suggestions.
Additional features available to registered users include a digital wardrobe for tracking items you own, a wishlist for saving items of interest, and a style quiz to inform your personalised recommendations.
Important: Sartorial is not a retailer
Sartorial does not sell, ship, or accept returns for any products displayed on the platform. When you click a “Shop Now” button or any similar link, you are redirected to the brand's or retailer's own website. Any purchase you make is a transaction solely between you and that retailer, governed by that retailer's own terms and conditions. Sartorial has no involvement in and accepts no responsibility for any such transactions.
The Service is provided free of charge to users. Sartorial generates revenue through affiliate commissions earned when users make purchases via our links, as further described in Section 8.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: You must be at least 16 years of age. If you are under 16, you must not use the Service. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you become aware that a person under 16 has created an account, please notify us at contact@sartorial-design.com.
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and must keep this information up to date.
- One account per person: You may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or for any other purpose is prohibited.
- Lawful use: You must be able to form a legally binding agreement with us. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
You may create an account using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account. If you use Google Sign-In, your account is linked to your Google identity and subject to Google's terms of service in addition to ours.
4.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at contact@sartorial-design.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
- Sartorial will not be liable for any losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to take reasonable precautions to protect your credentials.
4.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity. Where practicable, we will:
- Notify you by email with the reason for suspension or termination
- Give you a reasonable opportunity to address the issue before permanent termination, unless immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users
- Provide a 30-day grace period after termination notice during which you may export your data (wardrobe, wishlist, and profile information)
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us at contact@sartorial-design.com. You may delete your account voluntarily at any time from your profile settings.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Service by, any other person. You must not:
- Use automated systems: Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated systems to access, extract data from, or otherwise interact with the Service without our prior written permission.
- Reverse-engineer our technology: Attempt to decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or otherwise derive the source code of our platform, recommendation algorithms, or machine learning models.
- Misrepresent your identity: Create fake accounts, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the Service unlawfully: Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law.
- Disrupt the Service: Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service's servers, networks, or infrastructure, including by transmitting malicious code, viruses, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Circumvent security features: Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, authentication, or access control features of the Service.
- Harvest user information: Collect, harvest, or otherwise aggregate personal information about other users without their explicit consent.
- Infringe intellectual property: Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without express written authorisation.
Violation of these conduct requirements may result in immediate termination of your account and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Sartorial's Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service - including but not limited to the design, layout, code, machine learning models, algorithms, data compilations, graphics, text, and user interface elements - are the exclusive property of Sartorial or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any such content without our express written permission.
The Sartorial name, logo, and all associated branding are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding.
6.2 Third-Party Content
Product images, brand names, and trademarks displayed on Sartorial belong to their respective owners and are displayed for the purposes of fashion discovery and informational reference only. Sartorial does not claim ownership of any product imagery or brand assets sourced from third-party retailers. If you believe any content infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at contact@sartorial-design.com.
6.3 Limited Licence to Use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not include any right to resell, sublicence, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the Service or its content.
7. Product Information and Third-Party Links
Product information displayed on Sartorial - including prices, availability, descriptions, sizes, and images - is sourced from third-party retailers and brand partners. While we endeavour to keep this information current, we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
- Pricing: Prices displayed on Sartorial are for informational reference only. The actual price charged at the time of purchase is determined by the retailer and may differ from the price shown on our platform.
- Availability: Items displayed may no longer be available, may be out of stock, or may not be available in your size or region. We make no guarantee of availability.
- Accuracy: Sartorial does not warrant the accuracy of product descriptions, materials, dimensions, or any other product information provided by third-party retailers.
Third-party websites
When you click a “Shop Now” link or any other outbound link from Sartorial, you are leaving our platform and entering a third-party website. Sartorial is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms of service, or any other policies of those websites. Your interactions with those websites - including purchases, returns, refunds, and payment disputes - are solely between you and the relevant retailer. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.
8. Affiliate Disclosure
This site contains affiliate links. Sartorial may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you.
Sartorial participates in the CJ Affiliate programme (operated by Epsilon International UK Ltd) and may earn a commission when you click a product link and subsequently make a purchase on the destination retailer's website. This commission is paid to us by the retailer and does not affect the price you pay – you will pay the same price as if you had visited the retailer's website directly.
Product selection and the ordering of recommendations on Sartorial are determined by our editorial judgement and machine learning algorithms, and are not influenced by the existence or value of any affiliate relationship. Our goal is always to surface items we genuinely believe are a strong match for your style.
CJ Affiliate uses tracking technologies (cookies, pixels, and scripts) on this site to attribute purchases and measure link performance. These technologies are only activated with your consent. For full details on what data is collected, how it is used, and how to opt out, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Recommendations and Personalisation
Sartorial uses automated machine learning systems to generate personalised outfit suggestions, similar item recommendations, and curated feeds. These recommendations are based on visual analysis of product imagery, your style quiz responses, and your interaction history on the platform.
Recommendations are suggestions, not endorsements
Items recommended by Sartorial are algorithmically generated suggestions. They do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any product's quality, safety, fit, suitability, or availability.
No guarantees on recommended items
Sartorial does not guarantee that recommended items will be in stock, available in your size, offered at the price displayed, or available for delivery in your region at the time you visit a retailer's website.
Accuracy depends on your input
The relevance and quality of recommendations improve over time based on the information you provide through your style quiz and your activity on the platform. Providing inaccurate information in your style quiz may result in less relevant recommendations.
10. Digital Wardrobe and User Content
The Digital Wardrobe feature allows you to mark items as owned and optionally add personal notes. Any content you add to your Digital Wardrobe (including notes and item selections) remains yours.
- Anonymised analytics: We may use anonymised, aggregated usage data from the Digital Wardrobe feature (such as how many users own a particular item) to improve recommendation quality. This data is stripped of all personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.
- Personal notes: Any personal notes you add to wardrobe items are stored privately and are not shared with third parties or used in any way beyond providing the wardrobe feature to you.
- Data export: You may request a copy of your wardrobe and wishlist data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) at any time by contacting us at contact@sartorial-design.com.
- Account deletion: All wardrobe data - including item selections and notes - will be permanently deleted when you delete your account. We recommend exporting your data before deletion.
- Feature discontinuation: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Digital Wardrobe feature at any time. If we discontinue the feature, we will provide reasonable notice and delete associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Without limiting the foregoing, Sartorial expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
- Any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- That the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of product information, pricing, or recommendations will meet your requirements
- That defects in the Service will be corrected
- That the quality, safety, or legality of products available through third-party retailers will meet your expectations
- That any advice, guidance, or recommendations obtained through the Service are reliable or suitable for your individual circumstances
No oral or written information or advice given by Sartorial or any of its representatives shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sartorial shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Without limiting the above, Sartorial shall not be liable for:
- Third-party retailer issues: Any issues arising from purchases made on third-party retailer websites accessed via Sartorial links, including but not limited to product quality, non-delivery, incorrect items, returns, refunds, or payment disputes.
- Reliance on recommendations: Any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from reliance on outfit suggestions, recommendations, or other content generated by our machine learning systems.
- Inaccurate product information: Any loss resulting from inaccurate pricing, availability, or product descriptions sourced from third parties.
- Service interruptions: Any loss resulting from temporary or permanent unavailability of the Service, whether due to maintenance, technical failure, or any other cause.
- Data loss: Any loss of wishlist items, wardrobe data, or other user-generated data resulting from technical failures, account termination, or service discontinuation.
In all cases, Sartorial's aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to use the Service. As the Service is provided free of charge, this means our aggregate liability is zero (£0 / $0) to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
What this section does not exclude
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law, including under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Some jurisdictions (including certain US states) do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to override any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sartorial from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly from:
- Your deliberate or fraudulent misuse of the Service
- Your knowing violation of these Terms or any applicable law
- Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights
This indemnification obligation does not apply to the extent that a claim arises from our own negligence, fault, or breach of these Terms. For EU/UK consumers, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law.
14. Privacy
Your use of Sartorial is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your personal information is collected and processed as described in the Privacy Policy, on the lawful bases set out there (including contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent where applicable).
The Privacy Policy describes in detail how we collect your information, how we use it to generate personalised recommendations, how we share it with third parties (including affiliate partners and infrastructure providers), and what rights you have over your data. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy with respect to the handling of personal data, the Privacy Policy shall prevail.
If you are a California resident, the Privacy Policy includes details of your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including how affiliate tracking data shared with CJ Affiliate is handled.
Right of withdrawal (EU/UK)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a service contract. Because the Service is free, available immediately upon registration, and does not involve any payment, the standard withdrawal period does not apply. You may, however, delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
15. Modifications to the Service
Sartorial reserves the right to modify, expand, reduce, suspend, or permanently discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes the right to:
- Add, change, or remove features and functionality
- Change the brands, products, or content available on the platform
- Alter recommendation algorithms and personalisation logic
- Suspend access to the Service for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons
- Permanently discontinue the Service
Sartorial shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service or any part thereof.
16. Modifications to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document will reflect the date of the most recent revision.
Where we make material changes to these Terms - that is, changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations - we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you by:
- Sending an email notification to the address associated with your registered account
- Displaying a prominent notice on the Service for a reasonable period
For material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the revised Terms take effect. During this notice period, you may terminate your account if you do not agree with the changes. If you continue to use the Service after the revised Terms take effect, you are agreeing to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and delete your account from your profile settings before the changes take effect.
We recommend reviewing this page periodically. You can always find the current version of our Terms of Service at sartorial-design.com/terms.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at contact@sartorial-design.com to allow us the opportunity to resolve your concern informally. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to resolve any complaint within a reasonable time.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
EU/EEA consumers
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If those laws entitle you to bring proceedings in your local courts, that right is unaffected by these Terms.
United States residents
If you are a resident of the United States, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
YOU AND SARTORIAL AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction. You may also seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction regarding intellectual property rights.
This arbitration agreement shall survive termination of your account and these Terms. If any part of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration provision shall be void.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sartorial with respect to your use of the Service, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings between you and Sartorial relating to the Service.
Any failure by Sartorial to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision, nor shall it prevent Sartorial from enforcing that right or provision at a later time. A waiver is only effective if given in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Sartorial.
